How we protect the digital footprint of Libya's leaders. Last updated Jan 2025.

Data Collection & .LY Registry

For domain registration services, specifically .ly extensions, we are mandated by LTT (Libya Telecom & Technology) to collect and verify registrant identity. This includes full name, physical address, telephone number, and email. This data is transmitted to the national registry to ensure digital sovereignty and asset ownership verification.

Hosting & Plesk Data

Data stored on our managed hosting platforms (Plesk/Linux Cloud) remains the sole property of the client. ProDomain maintains a "Zero-Knowledge" approach to client content; we do not inspect or access your databases or files unless explicitly requested for technical support or required by a valid Libyan court order.

Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to manage your session in the Client Area and billing portal. Analytical cookies help us optimize our global backbone performance for Libyan latency. You may disable these in your browser, though billing functionality may be impacted.

Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell user data. Information is shared strictly with regulatory bodies (LTT/GACI) for domain compliance or with our Tier-IV data center partners in the EU/USA solely for the technical provisioning of your infrastructure.

Cybersecurity Commitment

All administrative access is protected by multi-factor authentication (MFA). Our Tripoli-based staff undergoes rigorous security training, and our hardware firewalls utilize real-time threat scrubbing to prevent data interception.
